Why we built RackTrack

Every system above the rack assumed the rack matched the record. No system could prove it.

Two decades of running enterprise infrastructure, and one problem that never went away. We stopped waiting for someone else to solve it.

The missing layer, filled in

One phone sweep produces a continuously reconciled record of your rack, synced to the systems your teams already run.

01 · Capture phone-guided

Phone-guided rack sensing

A guided sweep of the rack face, bottom to top, filmed on a phone.

02 · Validate physical-to-network

Physical-to-network truth

What the camera sees is checked against what the network reports. The mismatches stop hiding.

03 · Reconcile structured

Structured intelligence

Inventory, topology, port state and firmware currency, merged into one record of the rack.

04 · Operationalize audit-ready

Audit-ready artifacts

The record syncs up into the tools above it, so every system finally works from what's really there.

The story behind RackTrack

i · The moment

Three sources. Three different stories

It started in a rack audit where the spreadsheet, the switch labels and the live ports each told a different story, and a team that should have been planning a change was crouched in front of cabinets instead.

A technician kneeling in front of an open rack, checking a label with a phone
Reading tiny labels, taking photos, cross-checking ports by hand.

ii · The reason

One missed cable

One missed cable could delay a migration, or send someone back into the data hall after hours. The physical layer deserved the same confidence teams already expect from their cloud dashboards.

iii · The team

Four disciplines, one product

Our founding team brings every layer of the problem to the table.

iv · The build patent pending

Automated network cable mapping

18months of engineering

RackTrack is built on patent-pending innovations for automated cable mapping, now the subject of a pending US utility patent application.
