No tracking

The website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising pixels or session recording.

Only what you send

We receive your details when you email us, including the brief the contact form prepares in your own email app.

Never sold

We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. You can ask to see, correct or delete it.

01Who we are

This website, racktrack.ai, is run by RackTrack Inc. ("RackTrack", "we", "us"), 85 Felt Rd, Suite #604, South Windsor, CT 06074, USA. RackTrack decides how personal information collected through this website is used, so for that information we are the controller (the party responsible for it).

Our team works from Connecticut, USA and Hyderabad, India.

02What this policy covers

This policy covers the racktrack.ai website and the enquiries you send us from it or about it: pages you read, the contact form, and emails or calls to our published contact details.

It does not cover the RackTrack platform itself (including portal.racktrack.ai, rack video and the records the platform produces). Customer data in the platform is handled under the agreement between RackTrack and the customer organisation, which takes precedence for that data. The Trust & security page describes how the platform is designed to handle it.

03Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your enquiry. The contact form asks for your name, email address, mobile number and, if you choose, your company, the scope you want us to look at (a rack, a row or a site) and a description of your requirement. The form does not send these details anywhere by itself: it opens your own email app with a message addressed to info@racktrack.ai, and we receive it only if you send that email.
  • Sign-in page. The Sign in page asks customers for a work email and password. Sign-in is not yet connected to the RackTrack platform, so these details stay in your browser and are not sent or stored. Once it is connected, they will go securely to the platform only to sign you in, and we will update this policy.
  • Emails and calls. Anything you include when you write to info@racktrack.ai or call +1 (860) 878 2448, and our replies.

Information collected automatically

When your browser loads a page, the services that deliver the page, its typefaces and its 3D library receive standard technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. This is how web requests work; we do not add tracking on top of it. See Data we collect for the full list and Third-party services for who those providers are.

What we do not collect

No cookies, analytics, advertising or social pixels, fingerprinting, session recording, precise location, or payment details. We do not ask for sensitive categories of information and ask that you do not send them. Details are in the Cookie policy.

04How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, understand the footprint you want checked, and arrange a demo, walkthrough or baseline assessment.
  • To follow up about that request and, if you become a customer, to manage the relationship.
  • To deliver the website and keep it secure and working, for example by investigating abuse or errors.
  • To meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

05Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Legitimate interests: responding to business enquiries you send us, and running and securing our website.
  • Steps before a contract: when you ask us for a demo, assessment or proposal.
  • Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
  • Consent: only where the law requires it. We will ask first, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

06Who we share it with

  • Service providers who help us run the website and our email, acting on our instructions. The providers the website itself uses are listed on Third-party services.
  • Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under confidentiality duties.
  • Authorities where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of RackTrack, our customers or others.
  • A buyer or successor if RackTrack is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with this policy continuing to apply.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

07International transfers

RackTrack is based in the United States and part of our team works in India, so your enquiry may be accessed from both countries. Our service providers may process information in other countries too. Where the law requires it, we use recognised safeguards for these transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

08How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any relationship that follows, and for as long as the law requires or allows us to keep records. When we no longer need them, we delete or anonymise them. Technical request data held by our providers is kept according to their own policies, linked on Third-party services.

09Security

The website is served over HTTPS. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Email is not a secure channel for secrets. Please do not send passwords, access keys, network configurations or rack video through the contact form or email. If we need them for an evaluation, we will agree a secure way to exchange them.

10Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • have it corrected or completed;
  • have it deleted;
  • object to or restrict how we use it, including for direct marketing;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it.

California residents have rights to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share it, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Residents of India may request access, correction and erasure, and raise a grievance with us, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 once its provisions apply.

To make a request, email info@racktrack.ai with the subject "Privacy request". We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law allows. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

11Children

This website is for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the website or our practices change, for example before adding any analytics or new third-party service. The date at the top shows the latest version. Where a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
